Pasha Hogan, Reiki

REIKI (ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life Force Energy," it is the energy which is all around us and can be activated and applied for healing purposes. Reiki addresses mind, body and spirit and accelerates the body's natural ability to heal itself.

HOW REIKI WORKS: Reiki is an energetic form of healing. The client lays fully clothed on a massage table while the practitioner holds her hands lightly on or just above the client's body. No pressure is applied and no oils are used. Receiving Reiki is restful, relaxing and meditative. Energetic healers believe that their clients receive the benefits of four hours of sleep from a one hour Reiki treatment.

Pasha discovered the benefits of this energetic form of healing while receiving treatments for breast cancer in 1997. Reiki treatments helped alleviate the debilitating effects of chemotherapy. Pasha’s experiences with Reiki have opened the door to a greater understanding of a universal life force operating in our daily lives.

In 2002, she became a Reiki Master and continues working with this healing energy.
