The Healing Journey:
A Yoga & Meditation Retreat for Sisters
Bring your soul sister, kid sister, big sister, mom or come by yourself! You will be in good company on this healing journey into self love and acceptance. Leaving the familiar behind, together we will engage in the deeply spiritual work of learning to love ourselves, both on and off the yoga mat!
Join us on the edge of the north Bali Sea for our Yoga and Meditation retreats. They are for all levels, whether a beginner or an experienced practitioner. You will be nurtured by daily yoga classes, spa treatments, and the opportunity to swim in the warm blue waters and watch dolphins leaping towards the sun. This retreat also includes two half days spent exploring some of the smaller neighboring villages, and ends with 3 nights in Ubud, the cultural heart of the Island.

Poetry for the Body:
A Yoga & Meditation Retreat
March 13-20, 2010
Lake Atitlan, Guatemala
"For your soul senses the world that awaits you."
- John O'Donohue
Leave the familiar behind and engage in the deeply spiritual work and play of learning to love ourselves, both on and off the yoga mat. On this retreat, Pasha will guide you through powerful breathing techniques, alignment, intention, poetry, meditation and visualization. Learn to experience life with your eyes and heart open, embracing the possibilities change brings - and letting your breath lead the way. Students at all levels of practice are welcome for this healing and inspirational retreat.
Yatra Yoga is pleased to return to Villa Sumaya, a classic retreat site seductively situated on the picturesque shores of Lake Atitlan (4500 ft above sea level) in the heart of Guatemala's highlands. With an uninterrupted vista punctuated only by a skyline of three perfect volcanoes, Villa Sumaya is the ultimate setting for yoga travelers in search of rest, reflection and ageless natural beauty. Unpretentious, thatch-roofed complexes have comfortable rooms, modern accommodations, spacious gardens, restaurant/bar, hot tub, sauna, and outdoor pergolas that are all hidden in the natural surroundings. Spa services are also available.
The local culture around Villa Sumaya is unparalleled. To round out your experience, you can immerse yourself in unique local markets, take a trip to the thermal hot springs, or participate in a protection ceremony with a Shaman. Volunteer service in nearby communities is also an option.
